Three animatronic cecropia moths in an antique french glass cabinet. This is a collaboration piece with Steve Fors. The wing flapping is triggered by a motion sensor hidden in the base of the cabinet which activates a servo controller that pushes and pulls on steel piano wire in a bowden tube.
This 3D printed honeybee encloses four servos to flap the wings, a wireless receiver, and battery. The legs are fully articulated.
